Refund Policy

Honest terms about subscriptions and refunds.

THE HEADLINE

Aubni is a subscription service.

Cancel anytime; you keep access through the end of your current billing period. We don’t issue refunds for completed billing periods or unused time within an active subscription.

Our Approach

Aubni is built for working photographers who use our tools daily. Our pricing reflects the actual cost of providing the service — AI compute, storage, payment processing, support, ongoing development.

When you subscribe to Aubni, you’re paying for ongoing service. Our refund policy reflects this with a simple, predictable approach. We make our pricing as clear as possible upfront, offer monthly options to let you try Aubni without long commitments, and give you full control over your subscription at all times.

Subscriptions: How They Work

Monthly subscriptions

  • Billed every month on the same date as your initial signup.
  • Cancel anytime from your account dashboard.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • No refunds for the current or past months.

Annual subscriptions

  • Billed once per year for 12 months of access.
  • Cancel anytime from your account dashboard.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current annual period.
  • No refunds for the current annual period or past annual periods.
  • Annual saves you 15% vs paying monthly.

Founding 50 subscriptions

  • $100/mo Edit Pro for your first 12 months. After Year 1 your subscription graduates to standard Edit Pro pricing (currently $199/mo).
  • Same cancellation terms apply during Year 1 as for any other subscription.
  • If you cancel during Year 1, the remaining months at the $100 rate are forfeited and not recoverable. Re-subscribing later means paying current standard pricing.

What's NOT Refundable

  • Unused subscription time within an active subscription.
  • Add-ons consumed during the billing period (Property Reels, Lot Outlines, Floor Plans, etc.).
  • Job overages charged during the billing period.
  • Founding 50 Year-1 subscription fees once the subscription is active.
  • Tax amounts collected by Stripe Tax for international customers — we don’t keep these; they’re remitted to tax authorities.

Exceptions Where Refunds May Apply

Despite the no-refund default, we’ll consider refunds in these specific cases:

Service-affecting outage

  • If Aubni is unavailable for an extended period (24+ hours of complete service outage in a billing period).
  • We’ll proactively offer credits or refunds when this happens.
  • Email support with documentation if we missed offering this.

Billing errors

  • If you were charged in error (duplicate charge, charge after cancellation, incorrect tier price).
  • Refunded promptly upon verification.
  • Email billing@aubni.com with details.

Fraudulent charges

  • If your payment method was used without authorization.
  • Contact your bank/Stripe dispute system AND email us at security@aubni.com.
  • We’ll work with you and Stripe to resolve.

Death or incapacitation

  • If a Founding 50 member or annual subscriber dies, we’ll refund the unused portion of the annual term to the estate upon documentation.
  • Reach out to support@aubni.com.

How to Cancel

Anytime, anywhere — no friction:

  • Log in to your Aubni account.
  • Go to Settings → Subscription.
  • Click “Cancel Subscription”.
  • Confirm.

You’ll receive a confirmation email immediately. You retain full access until the end of your current billing period.

Data After Cancellation

  • Account marked inactive for 30 days (you can reactivate without losing data).
  • After 30 days: account and all associated data permanently deleted.

Reactivation

Cancelled within 30 days? Just log in and resubscribe — your historical data is restored.

Cancelled longer ago?Sign up fresh — you’ll start with a new account.

Founding 50 cancelled subscriptions:Once cancelled during Year 1, the $100 rate is forfeited. If you re-subscribe, you’ll pay current standard pricing — the Year-1 cohort rate doesn’t reapply.

Disputes and Chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, please email billing@aubni.com first. We respond within 24 hours and resolve fairly.

Filing a chargeback with your bank without contacting us first may result in account suspension while we investigate. This protects everyone — Aubni from fraudulent disputes, and you from accidental account locks during legitimate issues.
